Is there a charging point for my electric car?

We offer the possibility to charge your electric car. Read more about how to take advantage of this service here.

Cancellation?

Booking rules for your particular reservation can be found in your confirmation. Keep in mind that you need to add cancellation protection to be able to cancel due to illness.

What facilities do you have at KlosterSPA?
What is included in the spa entrance

Access to all the above facilities for the duration of your package. Loan of bathrobe, towel, sauna towel & slippers, organic shower products & lotion, fruit & tea. In the spa there are products for skin & hair to use for the spa ritual included for everyone. 

Swim in the pool/use the sauna without buying a spa tree?

You need to book entrance to the spa to use our facilities, except for the gym which is included for all hotel guests.

NOTE! Spa centers cost extra and are not included when booking room & breakfast or in other hotel packages. If you want to visit the spa, you can either book one of our spa packages, or book a spa center subject to availability. Contact the booking department for help with this or book your day spa package via our online booking.

Smoke-free hotel

We are a non-smoking hotel, which means that smoking is not allowed inside the hotel, restaurant or spa area of Vadstena Klosterhotel, nor outside the entrances or on the balconies/terraces of the hotel rooms.

What menu will we get?

The menu is set the same day by our chefs and is a fixed menu (of course we take into account special diets / allergies, but this must be notified in advance) - if you want to choose freely from the a la carte menu, you can book a room and breakfast and separate table booking so you can choose freely from the a la carte menu.

Which building have we booked?

There is parking outside all buildings. There are no rooms in the reception building, so please leave your bag in your car when you enter the Monastery to check in.

Do you have dog rooms?

Three rooms in Slottsstugan on the Castle grounds. These can be booked on request before arrival. Contact the hotel reception for booking. We have chosen to offer dog rooms free of charge if you book a room intended for dogs and notify this in advance.

If you do not book a dog room prior to arrival, we cannot guarantee that rooms for this purpose will be available at check-in.

VPlease note that in the event of damage to the furniture or fittings of the room, we will charge a cost for restoration to its original condition. We also ask you to make sure that the dog is used to being left alone in this type of context. It is not allowed to leave a barking dog in the room out of consideration for other guests staying.

Can more people stay in one room?

This must be booked directly through us - we have some rooms where we can accommodate an extra bed in the main building and the castle wing.

Do we need to pre-book the spa/table or can we book this on site?

As we have a limited number of places, it is good to pre-book so that you get a guaranteed place. If you have booked one of our packages that includes spa or dinner, this is automatically booked and is a fixed time for each package.

Restaurant/spa opening hours?

Restaurant opening hours vary according to the season. You will find your dinner time in your welcome letter that you will receive when you arrive at the hotel. If you wish to book a table, please contact our reception: 0143-130 00

Do you have parking?

Free parking is included, subject to availability. Available in connection with the respective building, parking ticket can be obtained on site in the hotel or at the spa reception.

There are no rooms in the reception building so please leave your bag in the car when you arrive for check-in.

How do I order a wake-up call in my hotel room?

Waking up

  1. Pick up the hotel room phone and dial 18
  1. Enter the time in 24-hour format, (e.g. 07.30 becomes 0730) and wait for

confirmation tone.
NOTE: To program at 12:00 at night, dial "2400" and not "0000".
