Newly renovated rooms with Swedish interior details - from wallpaper and curtains to bathroom floors and bed frames - welcome to Klostergården
In April 2017 we opened the doors to a brand new Klostergården, we have painted, wallpapered, laid floors, carpentry and decorated. Quite simply, a complete renovation. We have preserved Swedish craftsmanship by furnishing Klostergården with Swedish interior details - from wallpaper and curtains to bathroom floors and bed frames. When we renovated the monastery courtyard, we wanted to create a unique feeling rooted in Swedish tradition and good craftsmanship. Given the age of the house, we wanted to create interiors from a Swedish modern arts and crafts tradition. It became a mix of fifties and sixties mixed with contemporary classics. The Jobs sisters from Leksand, Sweden, pioneered interior textiles with their floral patterns back in the 1940s. We chose Goken Jobs' Rhubarb pattern, which can be found in both textiles and wallpaper. A delightful, playful, showy pattern filled with our native flora, boldly colored.
