Isabella wins Bocuse d'Or Sweden Commis Award
Competition for young female chefs decided: 18-year-old Isabella Winkler wins the Bocuse d'Or Sweden Commis Award!
Isabella Winkler is the daughter of our chef Stefan, and she won the gold medal in this year's Bocuse DÓr Sweden Commis Awatd, which was held at Gastro Nord, Stockholmsmässan on April 7. The aim of the competition is to encourage more young female chefs to compete internationally, thus promoting career opportunities in the restaurant industry.
Jury's motivation
Among the four contestants, 18-year-old Isabella from Dackeskolan in Mjölby was chosen as the winner by a jury of renowned chefs. The winner was presented by the jury's chairman Tommy Myllymäki, with the motto:
"With a well-organized, mature and professional approach in the kitchen, she has created a beautiful, modern and tasty dish with enthusiasm and creativity."
