Choose whether you want to hike on the day of arrival or departure (choose what time you want to pick up your backpack at the time of booking, see below info). The backpack is picked up at the hotel reception where you can also leave your luggage if desired before you go on a trip. It is of course possible to buy an extra day's loan of backpack if you want to hike several days, or add several nights to the package and discover even more of our Östgötska nature.

*It is possible to pick up your backpack between 09.00-10.00 on the day of arrival or departure, or at 17.00 in the afternoon if you are leaving early the next morning. Please let us know before your arrival what time you would like to leave, and be sure to mention any allergies or special dietary requirements. You pick up your backpack at the hotel reception. Bring your own thermos.

The backpack contains a smoothie, fruit, mineral water, bar or equivalent healthier sweet, chips and a hearty sandwich & your choice of coffee or tea. If you wish, you can buy a homemade bun and lemonade when you pick up the backpack if you want some extra coffee with you on the hike.

 In the digital guestbook that is sent to you after booking, there are digital maps for hiking both in the immediate area & around Vadstena. 

Please note that the hike is done on your own. If you want to hike on Omberg, you need your own car. It is possible to book your own hiking guide for a fee. Email us in that case and we will help you with this.
